XFL-Week-9

With four games spread out over Saturday and Sunday, XFL week 9 looks to be an exciting one. Teams will be seeking to cement their place in the postseason with wins this weekend as the playoffs approach. As the tournament head towards the Playoffs, all the sides will be hoping to turn the tables. Let’s see who will be lucky enough.

Saturday afternoon Doubleheader: Vipers vs. Roughnecks and Guardians vs. Brahmas

The Vipers and Roughnecks square battle on ABC at 12:30 p.m. ET to kick off the doubleheader. After a not-so-good season, both teams will be looking to make their mark. The Roughnecks’ offensive excellence, led by quarterback P.J. Walker, has disappeared after being there for some time. The Vipers, on the other hand, have struggled on either side of the ball and will need to play their best game of the season to win and create a chance for themselves. The Roughnecks have been unstoppable since the start of the season.

The Guardians will depart later that evening, at 7 p.m. ET, to face the Brahmas on the road. The Brahmas have been one of the season’s biggest surprises, led by quarterback Eric Dungey. The Guardians, on the other hand, have fluctuated but still have a chance to make a late-season playoff run.

Sunday doubleheader: Battlehawks vs. Sea Dragons and Renegades vs. Defenders

The Renegades take on the Defenders on ESPN to start the Sunday doubleheader at 12:00 ET. Due in great part to quarterback Landry Jones, the Renegades have been among the league’s top teams this season. However, the defenders have struggled recently and will need to play their best match of the season.

Finally, the Sea Dragons and Battlehawks will square off against each other in St. Louis at 3 p.m. ET, in the last game of the XFL Week 9. This game has major playoff implications, as both teams are fighting for a spot in the postseason. The Battlehawks have been one of the best teams in the league this season, thanks to a stingy defence and a balanced offence. The Sea Dragons, meanwhile, have been up and down but have the talent to pull off an upset if they can play their best game of the season. If the Sea Dragons win, Week 10 is going to be more than interesting.

Players to look out for this Weekend:

  1. Vipers QB Jalan McClendon
  2.  Brahmas RB Jacques Patrick
  3. St. Louis Nick Tiano
  4. Seattle Ben DiNucci
