Lionel Messi’s contract with Paris Saint Germain was set to end in June and could have been renewed. However, things changed quickly when the club suspended the World Cup winner for two weeks after he missed a training session due to sponsor obligations in Saudi Arabia. The club took this matter very seriously, which ultimately ruined their relationship with the Argentine legend as the end of his contract approached.

Poor performances, particularly at home, had the club frustrated. After losing three out of four home games, with Messi missing training sessions, Les Parisiens had every right to be angry. Messi took the club’s harsh treatment seriously and decided to leave, even though the club’s management was trying to impose discipline and improve their performances.

Some fans suggest that PSG’s new coach is planning a 3-5-2 formation, which may not include Neymar. While this may seem like a silly reason, the situation at Les Rouge-et-Bleu Isn’t easy, and they are trying something new to secure the future of the club.

The future of PSG is now looking more dull as the contract of Kylian Mbappe has also entered its last year. Now, Real Madrid is in fierce rage but things have cooled down after Mbappe made a promise to the Spanish club that he will leave PSG in 2024. With Messi and Neymar now absent, players will start respecting the club discipline could be maintained as both strikers are proud of themselves and did not respect other players or management. The chemistry between management and players could improve allowing them to perform better in important matches. However, they still got a long way to cover if they want to regain their lost legacy and make a name for themselves in the world.
