Neymar-to-Al-Hilal-PSG

Neymar’s transfer news has been making huge headlines recently as Neymar to Al Hilal looks close. The Brazilian announced last week that he wishes to leave PSG for a new adventure. He spent five seasons with the French club and now has given the green signal for the move.

Neymar To Al Hilal Imminent

Saudi Pro League Club Al-Hilal was heavily linked with the World Beater for a couple of days, but now, the deal looks complete. According to various reports, PSG has accepted a fee of approximately  €90m for Neymar from Al-Hilal

This will make Neymar the highest Cumulative transfer value for  €400m, overtaking Belgian Romelu Lukaku. Moreover, The Brazilian Magician’s Medical is scheduled for today at the Saudi Club. Neymar is headed to Al-Hilal for a lucrative contract of €150m, the same side offering a €1b contract to Mbappe.

With Messi already at MLS club Inter Miami and Neymar being given the green signal to leave, the Dream Duo is moving from Parc Des Princes at the same window.

Initially, this deal looked much more complicated than the Mbappe saga, as the attacker still had three-plus years left in his contract until 2026.

According to reports, Paris Saint Germain were demanding €150m, which was a bit unrealistic for a 31-year-old whose market value is around €60. Thankfully, with positive talks between Paris Saint Germain and Al Hilal and Agreement with the No. 10, the Neymar to Al Hilal deal looks sealed.

No Last Dance at Barcelona

On the other hand, Neymar was exploring a return to Barcelona, where he spent four years of his career from 2013 to 2017 after moving from Santos. The Neymar transfer deal was becoming more than a reality, as Neymar reportedly targeted a 2-year contract with the La Liga giants.

Sadly, according to various reports, Barcelona coach Xavi Hernandez doesn’t favour the move of the PSG superstar.

Expectations from Al Hilal from Neymar

If Neymar’s move to Al Hilal happens, The Brazilian will undoubtedly assist the club with extraordinary skills and playmaking abilities and provide goal-scoring numbers. Neymar Jr has won major trophies in every club he has played for, including PSG and Barcelona.

Sadly, Neymar couldn’t win the Champions League trophy for PSG, which is one of the reasons Neymar is frustrated with the club. Nonetheless, he is one of the best players of this generation. He will definitely take Al Hilal to new levels by challenging the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo’s Al Nassr, Firmino’s Al-Ahli and Benzema’s Al-Ittihad.

Moreover, Neymar will also face other excellent players, including Kante, Mahrez, Jota, Maximan, Sadio Mane, Henderson and Brozovis. Thankfully, Neymar’s Al-Hilal has the likes of Neves, Milinkovic-Savic and Koulibaly to assist him in challenging the trophies in Asia.

Due to Neymar’s excellent career, Al Hilal will expect something significant from the Brazilian.

For the national side, Neymar is by far the most important player for Brazil. The no.10 has levelled his goal-scoring tally with Legendary Pele, having scored 77 goals in 123 caps and helping to win the Copa America in 2019.

For PSG, he has scored 82 goals in just 112 appearances. Further, in the Champions League, Neymar was a different Gravy. The Samba Star has 43 goals and 36 assists in just 81 matches. Unfortunately, this record will probably remain frozen if Neymar Jr’s move to Al Hilal is sealed.

The Bottom Line

As Neymar’s move to Al Hilah looks done and dusted, Many football fans around the globe are unsatisfied with the decision. Neymar will be leaving Europe at just 31 years of age and leaving his peak years behind.

Nonetheless, Saudi Pro League is not as advanced as Europe’s top 5 leagues, but still very competitive. With Saudi Clubs being reactive in the transfer market, they have grabbed some world beaters and emerging talents, including Benzema, Kante and Mahrez; Saudi Pro League should be one to watch.
