As the year 2022 ends, we are heading towards a new and exciting season for Formula One driving. The year 2023, awaits with a new adrenaline rush and a new thrill. We may see new faces in the line-ups and complete overhauls of the crews.
Let’s take a look at what Formula One 2023 has in store for us!
All The Drivers and Teams racing in 2023
It is almost time for the new season, and we might see some new pairings for a few teams. This might not be true for the top three ranked teams in the Formula One Ranking. But others might not be too shy to make some changes.
Red-Bull
Drivers:
- Max Verstappen
- Sergio Perez
The Red-Bull team stood firmly and made no changes to their 2022 drivers. Red Bull accomplished a lot in all the major tournaments, except for their drivers achieving the top rankings. Can they perform well and carry this form onward in 2023?
Ferrari
Drivers:
- Charles Leclerc
- Carlos Sainz
Ferrari started well in 2022, but slowly lost their shine as the season proceeded. Thanks to Sainz’s win in Silverstone, their drivers made a mark in the driver’s rankings. As Ferrari retains these two for the third consecutive year, will they be able to handle their expectations?
Mercedes
Drivers:
- Lewis Hamilton
- George Russel
Mercedes looked like a lost child in 2022. It was a disappointing season for the crew. Hamilton for the first time in his career was not able to taste victory or even get a pole.
Although Russel succeeded in getting both, Mercedes would still want to capitalize and perform a lot better than in the 2022 season.
Williams
Drivers:
- Alex Albon
- Logan Sargeant
Alex Albon had been retained by Williams again for this year. But he has the challenge of fighting the lions of Formula One with the American Rookie, Logan Sergeant. Will he be able to propel Williams forward on the table?
Alpha Tauri
Drivers:
- Yuki Tsunoda
- Nyck De Vries
Tsunoda being the leader of the Alpha Tauri pack has a huge responsibility on his shoulders to guide his team. He also will be playing alongside rookie Nyck, so it will be amazing to see how these fare in the 2022 championship.
Alpine
Drivers:
- Pierre Gasly
- Esteban Ocon
Alpine with an all-French drivers line-up will be looking to hunt down some big names. With Gasly back in the crew, they will at least want to top the mid-field in 2023. Gasly and Ocon have both won a race.
HAAS
Drivers:
- Kevin Magnussen
- Nico Hulkenberg
Haas will rely on the experience of Magnussen and Hulkenberg, who has just come back after three seasons of being out of full-time Formula One racing. They will try to improve the eighth position they achieved in 2022.
Aston Martin
Drivers:
- Fernando Alonso
- Lance Stroll
Aston Martin has decided to keep Stroll with them and has added two-time World Champion Alonso to their line-up. So, Stroll will have to battle it out with Alonso to get Aston Martin up to the top, the only ambition he wants to achieve so much.
Mc Laren
Drivers:
- Lando Norris
- Oscar Piastri
Norris, is the only driver to secure a podium in 2022, outside the big three crews. Another rookie to work with, Lando will be hanging out with Australian hot shot, Oscar Plastic. McLaren would like them to secure the top of midfield in 2023.
Alfa Romeo
Drivers:
- Zhou Guanyu
- Valtteri Bottas
Alfa Romeo secured sixth place on team rankings for the 2022 season. Despite, having an altogether new pairing, they showed a brave and strong performance. The question is will they be able to carry on this momentum and surprise everyone?
