5.Antonio Rudriger
After the German international turned down Chelsea’s offer to renew the deal, he has been signed up by Real Madrid on free transfer. His new deal will be worth £340,000 (per week).

6. Paulo Dybala
The Argentina forward has been signed up by Jose Mourinho’s Roma on a free transfer. He has joined on a three-year deal after his contract with Juventus ended in June.

7. Matthijs de Ligt
Matthijs de Ligt joins Bayern Munich from Juventus in a £68m deal; Bayern will pay an initial £59.5m plus a further £8.5m in add-ons for the 22-year-old. Dutch defender has left Juventus after three years.

8. Robert Lewandowski
Probably the most prized transfer this year for Barca. Robert Lewandowski has joined Barcelona in a 50 million euro deal until 2027. He left Bayern after eight years with one Champions League and eight Bundesliga titles.

9. Mesut Ozil
Former Arsenal Star, Mesut Ozil’s contract has been terminated by Turkish side Fenerbahce as he prepares to move to their rivals Basaksehir FK. It is a free transfer to the League rival.

10. Paul Pogba
A surprising transfer indeed. Man Utd midfielder agrees four-year contract at Serie A club. Paul Pogba left Manchester United after his contract expired at the end of June; Juventus have reached an agreement to sign the France midfielder on a four-year contract.

11. Steven Bergwijn
Spurs and Ajax finally reached an agreement over the transfer of the 24-year-old after the Dutch champions’ initial £20m offer was rejected in June. Netherlands international Bergwijn was keen on a move to Ajax for over a month.

12. Angel de Maria

13. Franck Kessie
Franck signed a four-year contract with a release clause of £430m. The 25-year-old, who had been playing for AC Milan since 2017, is set to become just the second Ivorian to play for Barcelona after Yaya Toure. Kessie joins Barca having helped AC Milan win their first Serie A title in 11 years last season.

14. Darwin Nunez
Darwin Nunez joins Liverpool in a club-record £85m transfer deal from Benfica. The Uruguay forward has signed a six-year contract at Anfield; the 22-year-old scored 34 times for the Portuguese side in all competitions last season.

15. Erling Haaland
Man City confirm signing of Borussia Dortmund striker in £51m deal. City have paid the 21-year-old’s release clause and expect to pay £85.5m in total when agent fees, signing bonus and other costs are taken into account. A very BIG transfer indeed.

16. Oleksandr Zinchenko
Oleksandr Zinchenko joined Arsenal from Manchester City after a £32m deal was agreed; Ukrainian won four Premier League titles with Manchester City but only made 15 league appearances last season.

17. Kalidou Kaulibaly
Chelsea have completed a deal to sign Napoli centre-back Kalidou Koulibaly for a fee in the region of £32m. The central defender, who has 62 caps for Senegal, has signed a four-year contract worth around £160,000 per week (£8.2m a year) net plus bonuses to move to Stamford Bridge.

18. Lisandro Martinez
Manchester United have confirmed the £56.7m signing of Ajax defender Lisandro Martinez on a five-year contract. United have paid a guaranteed €57.37m (£48.3m) for the Argentina international, with an additional €10m (£8.4m) in add-ons agreed between the two clubs.
