Messi has been called out, but not exactly in very encouraging words. The Ex-Barca Board Member Roman Gomez Ponti, used some terrible words for the Argentinian sensation. The news has spread like a fire in the forest, and many football sects have demanded action from Spanish Authorities.

Roman Gomez Ponti, an ex-member of Former Barcelona General Director; Oscar Grau’s Board Members, reportedly leaked the details of Messi and Gerard Pique’s contract, along with other of his previous partners on the board. The Catalan police investigated the matter and held all of them accountable for it.
The Events of 12 January
Media reports show that the local press had obtained leaked photos of an alleged WhatsApp chat between Ponti and his partners in crime. The WhatsApp chats included the former Financial Pancho Schroder and ex-directory of Strategy and Innovation, Javier Sobrino. The whole group was angry about the leakage of contract details. It is the day that Gomez brutally attacks Messi, Pique and Busquets.
What was in the chat leaks?
Here’s how Ex-Barca Board Member Roman Gomez Ponti had his go on Messi:
“Barto, really, you can’t be such a good person with this sewer rat. The club has given him everything and he has dedicated himself to marking a dictatorship of signings, transfers, renewals, patrons (sponsors) just for him, etc”
He accused Messi of making his and Suarez’s case of not decreasing their salaries:
“President, lower the salaries of others, but don’t touch Luis and me.” Hopefully, it marches between the indifference of the people, which is the worst thing that can happen to him (one more pesetero) ”.
His disrespectful remarks didn’t end here:
“I will never be able to do it, but Pinto, the renewal of Suárez, and that of Jordi Alba, or the renewal commission for Fati (Rodrigo Messi, agent?) should be added to the figures of his contract? (partner to a drug dealer). And above all the accumulation of blackmail and rudeness that the club and those of us who work have suffered from this hormonal dwarf who owes Barça his life… ah!”
Ponti didn’t even spare Sergio Busquets:
“Those players who have no market and cannot be transferred (Busquets can be an excellent example) to dismiss them with minimal compensation and forget that They have passed through the club for being unsupportive”.
What can we deduce from this controversy?
Based on all the conversations, it is clear that Leo Messi and Gerard Pique were the most hated. The way Ex-Barca Board Member declared Messi a “Hormonal Dwarf” and “Sewer Rat”, shows how much he resented him. For Roman, Messi polluted FC Barcelona and diseased it. He considered him a dictator who wanted to play by his own rule.
Till now, there has been no reply whatsoever, by any mentioned name in the Barçagate scandal. An interesting thing to note here is that Ponti along with his accomplices didn’t hesitate a bit to mention Messi and others. This means that something really happened among them and it wasn’t good. This was also the reason, Messi’s 20-year partnership with Barca came to an end.
