Srilanka will be hosting the majority of matches and they will be playing their all matches in Srilanka except for the match against Afghanistan that is to be played at Lahore.

They have amazing talent in their team there have been some senior players making their comeback with the likes of Kaushal Janith Perera and Dimuth Karunaratne. They have very good players with the likes in the middle order the likes of Kushal Mendis, Dhananjiya De Silva, and Charith Asalanka but they would be missing their ace player Wanindu Hasaranga with the bat and bowl as he got injured just before in the recently concluded LPL.

Srilanka has potential in their team but their recent performances have not been great against the big teams and it would be interesting to see what srilanka comes in this tournament to play

India:

Now we will be doing an Asia Cup 2023 preview of team India. The 7 times champions of the tournament and having the most wins of the title India is surely a favorite to be lifting the Asia Cup 2023.

They have had a lot of success in the tournament but as of late there have been some issues and their team is not looking well-settled as compared to some teams. Coming to the openers we have got news from team Coach Rahul Dravid that opener KL Rahul won’t be available so this gives us a point to debate Will it be Ishan Kishan and Shubman or Shubman Gill or Rohit Sharma?

There has been a lot of debate regarding who will be laying at no 4 for India in the tournament as Suryakumar Yadav is having a horrible time playing at no 4 and is finding it very hard to score some runs there has been a lot of debate as to Rohit or Kohli playing at no 4 and there has also been speculation regarding their new talent Tilak Verma who performed very well in the series Against Windies be playing at no 4 so questions are being asked and they haven’t been yet answered.

The rest of the team looks sorted and is performing well. In the bowling department, the point of attraction will be Jasprit Bumrah as we know he is making his comeback into the team after a long time in India’s team he recently played in T20’s against Ireland he bowled well but it sure would be a challenge for the team and him to have his performance being gauged.

Squad:

Rohit Sharma (Captain), Shubman Gill, Virat Kohli, Shreyas Iyer, Suryakumar Yadav, Tilak Varma, KL Rahul, Ishan Kishan, Hardik Pandya (VC), Ravindra Jadeja, Shardul Thakur, Axar Patel, Kuldeep Yadav, Jasprit Bumrah, Mohd. Shami, Mohd. Siraj, Prasidh Krishna.

Pakistan:

Current runners-up and current world number 1 Pakistan is a strong contender to lift the coveted trophy. As we are doing the Asia Cup 2023 preview we will be now accessing their chances We would talk about what potential does their players have so looking into it.

He was looking at the squad of Pakistan Cricket for the Asia Cup 2023 preview. The squad of the Pakistan cricket team looks very strong as it covers all the bases a group requires to have a proper chance in any multi-nation tournament. Looking at opening batters of Pakistan has the world’s no 3 batter Imam Ul Haq who is in great form and has been scoring continuous runs.

Talking about the other opener who comes as the world no 5 batter, Fakhar Zaman has also been good with the bat but recently, he has started to struggle and is not in good form that will be a point to focus on coming at no 3 Pakistan has the kingmaker and the world no 1 batter Babar Azam. now at no 4 comes M. Rizwan and at no 5 there will be Salman Ali Agha no 6 comes Iftikhar Ahmad at no 7 we have Shadab at 8 we will have either Nawaz or Usama on 9 comes Shaheen and on 10 will be Naseem and at no 11 Haris Rauf.

Now if he analyzes a point all players in the Pakistan lineup can bat to the very number 11 plus Pakistan has 7 options for bowling 5 main bowlers and 2 part-timers in Agha Salman and Iftikhar Ahmad who are also very handy with the bowl. So Pakistan has what it takes to be a force to reckon with.

Now coming to the schedule of the Asia Cup 2023 we need to discuss it as the schedule might confuse you as Pakistan would be hosting 4 matches and 9 Matches would be held in Sri Lanka. There have been a lot of issues and a lot of ups and downs on the road to Asia Cup 2023. Political tension and other factors were contributing as Pakistan was going to host Asia Cup 2023 and India had issues with their government not giving clearance to travel.

Pakistan as we see the schedule will be hosting 4 games including the opening match to be played in Multan to be played on 30th August. The next match will be hosted by Lahore of Afghanistan vs. Bangladesh on 3rd September 2023. Match no 3 would again be hosted by Lahore of Afghanistan vs. Srilanka.

There would be one match of Super 4 being played at Lahore on 6th September 2023 of A1vsB2. Now to what this would mean Pakistan will be declared A1 even if they do not win their Group Bangladesh/Afghanistan would become B2 even if they win their group and Srilanka Would be declared winners of the group regardless.
